Cost: FREE RSVP here to let us know you are planning to attend This unique seminar will be a fun, fast-paced experience for parents who want to learn some "tricks of the trade" and desire for their children to get the most out of the homeschool journey. The Mini-Seminar is for everyone; those who are new to homeschooling and those who have been homeschooling for a while and would like a few new ideas or inspiration. Topics include learning styles and teaching methods, requirements for homeschooling in Kentucky and record-keeping. We will offer suggestions for getting started and a peek into the days of various homeschoolers and how they make it work for their families. We will also offer a session on teaching with DVDs or online lessons as well as one on the benefits of teaching Latin. Several families will Show & Tell their favorite homeschool resources, and will answer questions about the way it works for them. Coffee, water and snacks will be available. Sessions coordinated and led by homeschool moms with a sum total of over 50 years worth of experience. Wow!
